90’s Korean Pop music inspired a generation of Korean musicians across the world. I wanted a visual that paid homage to oversized fits, illustrious group dances, and fun atmospheres.
Art Direction: Skits were common in 90’s music videos so we made our own rendition!
Art Direction: Finding oversized tees were quite the challenge, but Goodwill and Salvation Army stores supplied all the goods!
Art Design: Korean traditional garments, hanboks, were worn by royalty or citizens on special occasions
Side dishes are the spice of life in Korean cuisine. We had to lay out a variety of food for the table scene.
CASTING
Youtuber Joon Lee Comedy blessed us with an amazing performance as a Korean mom. I worked with make-up artist, Alice Lee, to pull off this look. We love how it turned it!
